Welcome to the "new" Ogemaw Hills Christian School,
Our school has been in existence since 1998 and has recently been going through some exciting changes. After several years of operating as a full K-12 program, we have decided to focus on our elementary grades. We have also decided to add a 3 and 4 year old Preschool. We believe that we can provide a better elementary program for your child by concentrating our resources and facilities in these areas.
Therefore in order to effectively accomplish the above, we have instituted a "Seven Point Plan for School Excellence" for the upcoming 2008-2009 school year. This will incorporate the following updates to our program:
1. Improving our curriculum, as well as physical building, through
participation in the MANS (Michigan Associatin of Non-Public
Schools) accreditation process.
2. Installing a state-of-the-art computer lab.
3. Introducing Spanish in all grades.
4. Opening preschool for 3 and 4 yr. olds.
5. Beginning an after school program for grades K through 6th.
6. Extending the calendar year to provide more in-class time.
7. Adding a sports program for grades 4th through 6th.
One thing that has not and will not change, is the love and acceptance your child will receive from their teacher while at Ogemaw Hills Christian School. Our faculty "model" Christ to their students. Our desire is that all our students would grow secure in His love as they interact with their teacher.
